OVERVIEW
Myles Bassell is a distinguished business executive, professor, author, and lecturer with more than 20 years professional industry experience. He has successfully managed teams and departments of more than 50. He has proven to be an exceptional leader and manager over the last 20+ years. Since 1999 Bassell was a senior executive with MIB Business Management Solutions Inc., a full-service consulting firm that develops, implements, and integrates a variety of revenue- and profit-generating management solutions. He was directly responsible for providing marketing, management, sales, financial, tax, and accounting advisory services. He has been preparing taxes for more than 10 years.

Myles Bassell teaches management, leadership, entrepreneurship, and other business courses at Brooklyn College. He has an indepth understanding of CUNY operations including:
+ Admissions,
+ Registrar,
+ Bursar, and
+ Financial Aid.
He has been a keynote speaker at many professional and academic events. Myles Bassell has given lectures to thousands of students worldwide on a variety of business topics. Some of the universities where he lectured include:

Mr. Bassell's primary reasons for teaching are
- to help students learn,
- to prepare students for careers in business, and
- to convey the importance of valuing cultural diversity.
His focus is on helping students be sucessful. In 2005 a confidential evaluation administered by the City University of New York found that 90% of students said they would recommend Mr. Bassell. However, popularity is not the motivation for all of the effort and consideration Mr. Bassell demonstrates for his students. Mr. Bassell insists student success is his motivation.
Myles Bassell is the Faculty Advisor to the Business Leadership Society, a student organization that he help students found in the Fall of 2006. In 2011 the Business Leadership Society celebrated 5 years of making a difference at Brooklyn College. Professor Bassell and Ryan Buck are the architects of The Entrepreneurship Experience Program. Professor Bassell is the team leader of the Students 4 Students team he formed, in collaboration with Ryan Buck, to increase awareness and utilization of the Student Center at Brooklyn College.
