Grants

I am a coPI on a National Science Foundation grant called Building Bridges, that focuses on preparation, recruitment, and retention of Computer and Information Science (CIS) majors, by building community and providing support both in the CIS department and in the community.
Check out the Bridges website for the who, what, when, where and how.

I am also a coPI on a multi-univeristy, collaborative CPATH (CISE Pathways to Revitalized Undergraduate Computing Education) grant sponsored by the National Science Foundation, that seeks to transform undergraduate computing education on a national scale. We will be working on developing a "Brooklyn College" version of the "threads" program that has been successfully impelmented at Georgia Tech University.
