Currently, there are seven UG (Mahmoud Hamsho, Domenec Paterno, Danny Dilone, Tamim Shadat, Mona Hassan, XiaYing Lu and Rueben Kupferstein) and seven HS students working in my lab. 

Group Members



Mahmoud Hamsho is a senior en route to graduate infall 2016 with his Bachelors of Science in Physics. He is a fellow of the NSF's Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP). He plans on pursuing a Masters in Electrical Engineering after graduating.

 

Domenec Paterno is a senior pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Physics and will graduate in the spring of 2016.  He is a second-degree student with past degree work and professional experience in economics and mathematics education.  After Brooklyn College, he intends to continue his study of physics in the area of electromagnetic phenomena at the University of Hawaii.

 

 

Tamim Shadat is a senior pursuing a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Chemistry as pre-med student and will graduate in the spring of 2016.  After Brooklyn College, he intends to study at a medical school in the northeast, and plans on becoming a doctor specializing in ophthalmology.

 

Danny Dilone is a senior majoring in physics at Brooklyn College and will be a first generation college graduate. His research interests are High Energy Nuclear Physics and Materials Science. Upon graduation he plans to enroll in an APS Bridge Program and obtain a masters degree. After completing his masters he hopes to enroll into a doctoral program in Physics. His career goal is to become a faculty member.
