This is the Brooklyn College homepage of John A. Velling, an associate professor of mathematics at Brooklyn College and member of the CUNY Graduate Center doctoral faculty. I am usually at Brooklyn College on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at the Graduate Center on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

My research interests have been focused on geometric function theory and its various components: complex analysis, differential geometry, ergodic theory and dynamical systems.
