ANSWER TO ASSIGNMENT THREE
First you need to decide what part of the sky is significant for you. Perhaps you would choose something about your birthday, anniversary or some similar situation. Then you need to decided what you want to do about it. For example, I want the rising sun to cast a shadow at a particular time of day through a doorway. You would then have to figure out wherer the sun rises on that day, where the shadow would fall and then build a doorway in such a way that the shadow will fall where you like! Perhaps you could rig up something like a magnifying glass so as the sun rises, it will shine through the glass, which will generate enough heat to burn through a rope, which will drop a weight which will raise a flag in front of the house that Jack built... no that's not right! Well, you get the message!
