ASSIGNMENT FOUR

The American Museum of Natural History's cultural exhibits are organized ethnographically, rather than ethnologically - that is to say that the halls have names like "North West Coast Indians" or "People of Asia". This sometimes makes it difficult for people to find out information about specific topics - like, of course, ethno and archaeoastronomy.

For your fourth project, you will need to come to the museum and wander through the ethnographic hall (Nw Coast Indians, Indians of the Plains, Indians of the Eastern Woodlands, Peoples of Central America, Peoples of South America, and Peoples of Africa, Peoples of Asia and the special exhibit "Vietnam". What kinds of ethnoastronomical and archaeoastronomical information can you find in the halls?
