ASSIGNMENTS AND EXAMS
The paper should be about a film which is not on the list of films that will be shown this term
The film you choose MUST be in a language that you speak natively and are familiar with the culture of the people making the film
The paper should focus on a sequence or scene in the film which you feel exemplifies much of what the film is about. Consider the discussion of several of the sequences of Strangers on a Train.
The paper should discuss specifically the ways in which film techniques are used to send information about both the text and sub text.
The paper is due NOVEMBER 27, 2013.
The next quiz qill be on December 6, 2013 and will deal with analytical terms.
