CLASS NOTES
Notes for each film will be posted on this web site AFTER the film has been shown in class.
Dates
Wednesday Feb. 18th is a conversion day. Classes meet in accordance with MONDAY classes. Our class does NOT meet on Feb. 18th.
HERE IS THE QUESTION:
You have been asked to develop a course on disaster movies for the college. Write out a "proposal" for such a course. This would include what you think is important to tell students about disaster films and a list of 14 films that would be used to exemplify the points you feel need to be made. While you need not analyze each film, you should indicate why the film was selected to indicate the points you listed as significant for the course. DO NOT USE THE OUTLINE OF THE CURRENT COURSE and try to use as many films as possible that were not shown during the class meetings. Saturday films are OK.
