Concert Pieces

La Mer (The Sea) is a symphonic poem in three sketches by Claude Debussy. The three depict different aspects of the sea. The first is called "From dawn to noon on the sea" or "From dawn to midday on the sea"; the second is "Play of the Waves" and final sketch is called "Dialogue of the wind and the sea" or "Dialogue between wind and waves"

Scheherazade: The Sea and Sinbad's Ship is the first of four movements of Rimsky Korsakoff's Sheherazade. The fourth movement depicts the destruction of the ship in storm.
